Estela Maria Lemos Monteiro Soares de Camargo is a member of the International Fiscal Association, of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law, of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law and of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Bar Association). Ms. Camargo’s practice is addressed to Real Property Law, being coordinator of Mesa de Debates de Temas de Direito Imobiliário (Round Tables of Real Property Themes) since 1998, and Tax Law, particularly taxes levied on estate, probation, wills, tax litigation, both at administrative and judicial levels. In Administrative Law, Ms. Camargo has great performance in product registration before Ministries of Agriculture, Health and also before IBAMA – Instituto Brasileiro de Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (Brazilian Instituct of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources). Ms. Camargo co-authored the book Ação Declaratória – Ementário de Doutrina e Jurisprudência, with Professor Arruda Alvim, a work published by Revista dos Tribunais. Ms. Camargo worked at law firms, including in France, and at industrial companies; she represented Brazil as “National Reporter” at the IFA International Congress in Geneva, in 1996. Born in São Paulo, 1956, Ms. Camargo graduated in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo, and specialized in Tax Law at the Centro de Estudos de Extensão Universitária (1985).
